Waldner’s Secuflow EN7 and EN7 fume hoods are designed for special applications with high thermal loads and/or exposure to acids. As such, they need to meet very demanding requirements in accordance with DIN EN 14175-7. Their airflow design is adapted to guarantee laminar flow and safe extraction – even when working with high heat sources (e.g. hot plates). On the other hand, working with strong acids such as perchloric and hydrofluoric is made possible through the use of appropriate materials. Other application-specific models enable handling radio isotopes, dusty substances (Secuflow IONIC), and recirculating air operation (Secureflow Green Fumehood (GFH)). Some of these models benefit from the Waldner’s Secuflow technology.
