Type 3 often refers to the use of reverse osmosis in order to purify the water. Type 3 water is commonly used to supply purified water for dishwashers, water baths, autoclaves as well as feedwater to obtain pure and ultrapure water.
Type 3 water is typically used for general lab purpose:
- Feeding general lab equipment (water baths, incubators, etc.)
- Humidification
- Glassware wash/rinse
There are two available Thermo Scientific™ Barnstead™ type 3 models:
- Pacific RO
- LabTower RO
The suitable model for your application can be selected based on capacity, feed water type, flow rates and monitoring parameter.
- Storage capacity: 30 L to 100 L
- Feed water: tap
- Flow rates: 7 L/h to 40 L/h
- Monitoring: Feedwater and RO conductivity
