Are cages adequate for all types of small animals?

Cages exist for all types of laboratory animals but are manufactured in different dimensions to meet all animal welfare regulations.

What material is used for cages?

The base tub is usually made of macrolon or polysulfone (for specific applications). Other elements are made of stainless steel

How is the feeding of caged animals handled?

Cages have special covers with separate areas for water and food. This allows the animals to be fed properly and safely

Are there cage ventilation systems?

Yes, there are special systems for keeping cages under controlled ventilation conditions. These can be individually ventilated cages or collective ventilation

Are there filters on the cages?

Cages can also be equipped with filter covers, but then we recommend using a forced ventilation system

Are there systems for euthanizing animals?

Yes, we offer animal euthanasia systems using CO2 (approved and in compliance with European regulations)

Are there systems for monitoring the metabolism of animals?
