Waldner offers a wide range of laboratory fume hoods: bench-mounted fume hoods with either rear wall installation or side installation, walk-in fume hoods as well as low-level fume hoods – the latter two being available with side installation. Some of the models are featuring special Secureflow technology, which provides increased safety and better energy efficiency, having a 33% less air flow than conventional systems. Fume hoods with a rear wall installation have only 25 mm wide side posts, providing the maximum possible access width, and fume hoods with side installation integrate the control units on 100 mm-wide service panels positioned at the side. Both rear wall and side installation types have the maximized internal volume achieved by integrating the drip sink in the rear walls and/or side walls. The fume hoods are available in the following widths:
- 1200 mm
- 1500 mm
- 1800 mm
- 2100 mm
- 2400 mm
What is more, the connection height of the fume hoods can be reduced to 2570 mm for low-ceiling rooms.
Worktops and coatings can be produced from various materials such as polypropylene, solid (grade) laminate, melamine resin facing / post forming, stainless steel, stoneware, epoxy, etc., most suitable for the required application. Additionally, internal lining material can be selected based on the type of aggressive chemicals that might be used.
Fume hoods are available with self-supporting underbench units used for chemicals and equipment storing, designed for acids or alkalis, solvents, or cooling units.
