Disc Mills

Retsch Vibratory Disc Mills are particularly suitable for rapid, loss-free grinding of hard, brittle as well as fibrous materials to analytical fineness. These mills are primarily used for sample preparation in spectral analysis.
Thanks to their robust construction, disc mills are used in rough conditions in both laboratories and pilot plants, as well as online for the quality control of raw materials.

Vibratory Disc Mill RS 200

The Vibratory Disc Mill RS 200 is designed for the extremely quick, loss-free and reproducible grinding of medium-hard, brittle as well as fibrous materials to analytical fineness. It runs steadily and smoothly at maximum speed, even with heavy grinding sets, thanks to the new Stabilized-Plane-Drive. With the robust design, the RS 200 has proven to be ideal for use in the building materials sector (cement), metallurgy, geology, mineralogy as well as in power plants. Due to the sophisticated fineness and speed, this is the perfect mill when it comes to preparing samples for spectral analysis.

Specification
Vibratory Disc Mill RS 300

The Vibratory Disc Mill RS 300 can grind medium-hard, brittle and fibrous materials to analytical fineness – extremely quick, loss-free and reproducibly. It is possible to process 1 to 4 samples simultaneously. Due to the robust universal drive shaft, which sets the grinding jar into a 3-D motion, the RS 300 accepts grinding set weights of up to 30 kg. Moreover, the closed grinding system guarantees complete processing of the sample.
Just like the RS 200, the RS 300 features a robust design and was proven as ideally suitable for applications in mineralogy, geology, metallurgy, the building materials sector (cement) and power plants.
Due to the high end fineness and speed, the Retsch Vibratory Disc Mills are the perfect choice for sample preparation in spectral analysis.

Specification
Disc Mill DM 200

Owing to the robust design, the Disc Mill DM 200 can be utilized in rough conditions in both laboratories and pilot plants, as well as online for the quality control of raw materials. What is more, the powerful DM 200 requires only a few minutes to achieve the desired grind size.

Specification
Disc Mill DM 400

The Retsch’s DM 400 is a new easy-to-use model for fine grinding of medium-hard, hard and brittle materials down to 0.05 mm. It is based on the well-proven DM 200, with improved safety features, such as automatic locking of the collecting vessel and grinding chamber, as well as particularly convenient operation due to the motor-driven grinding gap adjustment with digital gap display. The clearly structured display shows all grinding parameters. The DM 400 has the same robust design as DM 200.
